There's something cool about the first recording you make of a song idea. There's a sort of magic that can be really hard to recapture or improve upon. I feel like this is a good example. It's a simple, stripped down song, and the performance is very much in line with that vibe. If you listen carefully at the end, you can even hear me hit pause on the keyboard as the last chord rings out. This was initially intended as a bit of a song sketch, something to capture the idea and maybe build on later, but listening back, there was just something I really liked about the way it came out so I've decided to share it here!
